Steak and Ale Pie

Serves 2.

Tender British steak, slow-cooked with local Wensleydale ale, topped with light, flaky puff pastry.


Diced Beef (41.5%), Water, Mushrooms (9.6%), Ale (9.6%), Onion, Red Wine (Tempranillo, Salt, Preservative E220, Contains Sulphites) Gravy Mix (Modified Starch, Salt, Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron Niacin, Thiamin) Onion Powder, Colours (Rehydrated Garlic (98%), Citric Acid), Puff Pastry Lid, (Wheat Flour, Vegetable Fats and Oils (Palm, Rapeseed), Water, Salt, Flour Treatment Agent (I-Cysteine) Pastry Glaze (Maltodextrin, Modified Starch, Dextrose, Colours (E15oc, E16ob) Emulsifier (E466).

Oven cook from frozen instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 - 200 degrees fan/gas mark 7.
  2. Remove the sleeve and the film lid. Place the container on a baking tray, in the centre of the oven. Cook for 45 - 50 minutes.
  3. Leave to stand for 2 minutes before serving.

Make sure it si piping hot throughout, before serving. Our cooking instructions are only a guide. Adjust accordingly to the power rating of your appliance.
