Fairhursts Catering respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy notice aims to inform you on how we look after your personal data when you visit our website (regardless of where you visit it from) and about you, your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

Collection of your Personal Information

Fairhursts Catering collects personal information, meaning any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:

  • Contact Data including billing address, delivery address, email address, mobile and telephone numbers.

  • Transaction Data including details about payments to and from you and other details of products and services you have purchased from us.

  • Technical Data including internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access this website.

  • Profile Data including your username and password, purchases made by you, your interests, preferences, feedback and survey responses.

Fairhursts Catering also collects anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your postcode, age, gender and preferences.

We do not collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data). Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.

If You Fail To Provide Personal Data

Use of your Personal Data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to.

Fairhursts Catering collects and uses your personal information to operate the Fairhursts Farmshop website and to deliver the services you have requested. Fairhursts Catering keeps track of the websites, sites and pages our customers visit, in order to determine which services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customised content and advertising within Fairhursts Catering to customers whose behaviour indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.

We may use your Identity, Contact, Technical, Usage and Profile Data to form a view on what we think you may want or need, or what may be of interest to you. This is how we decide which products, services and offers may be relevant for you.

Time Limit To Respond

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.
